Single-session tickets for 2014 Secret U.S. Classic go on sale May 16

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., May 14, 2014 — Single-session tickets for the 2014 Secret U.S. Classic, the final qualifying event for women’s gymnastics for the P&G Gymnastics Championships, go on sale at 10 a.m. on May 16, 2014. Scheduled for Aug. 2 at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill., the Secret U.S. Classic features many of the USA’s top female gymnasts: many use the Secret U.S. Classic as a final tune-up for the P&G Gymnastics Championships, while other gymnasts are hoping to qualify for the national championships. 2012 Olympic team gold-medalist Kyla Ross of Aliso Viejo, Calif./Gym-Max Gymnastics, won the 2013 all-around title at the Secret Classic, with 2013 U.S. junior champion Bailie Key of Montgomery, Texas/Texas Dreams, claiming the junior all-around crown.
On Aug. 2, the senior session is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., with the juniors competing at 1 p.m. All times are Central and subject to change.
Single-session tickets range in price from $20-$45, depending on the session and location of the ticket. All-day tickets, which include admission to both the junior and senior elite sessions, are also available for $40-$69. This is the second straight year the event has been held at the Sears Centre. USA Gymnastics is again partnering with World Sport Chicago on this event. The two organizations have worked together on the 2009 American Cup, the 2009-10 Chicago Cup, and the U.S. Classic since 2010.
The P&G Championships is the national championships for USA Gymnastics and determines the U.S. champions and the U.S. National Team. The 2014 P&G Championships are scheduled for Aug. 21-24 at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. For more information, go to pgchamps.com.
