The U.S. Classic, which has athletes competing on the Junior and Senior levels, serves as the last opportunity for female gymnasts to qualify for the P&G Gymnastics Championships as well as a tune-up for many of the country’s top women. 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist Aly Raisman won the U.S. Classic last year on the Road to Rio. The Final Five™ are winners of a combined 23 Classic Championships between 2012-2016.
The Hopes Championships will feature some of the nation’s rising young gymnasts working to become an elite level gymnast. Both Gabby Douglas and Simone Biles won the Hopes Championships on their road to the elite level and the Olympics.
