Single-session tickets for U.S. Classic go on sale May 12


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., May 10, 2017 — Single-session tickets for the 2017 U.S. Classic, the final qualifying event for women’s gymnastics for the P&G Gymnastics Championships, go on sale on May 12 at 10 a.m. CT. Scheduled for July 29 at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill., the U.S. Classic features some of the USA’s top female gymnasts who are using the event as a final tune-up for the P&G Gymnastics Championships or to qualify for the P&G Championships.

Single session tickets for competition on July 29 are $35-$45 for the junior session at 1 p.m. and $39-$59 for the senior session at 6:30 p.m. All times are Central and subject to change. The Hopes Championships takes place Friday, July 28, the day prior to the U.S. Classic, and tickets range from $20-$30.

All-session ticket packages, which include admission to the junior and senior elite sessions along with the Hopes Championships, are still available and range from $79-$129.

The Hopes Championships has two age groups, 10-11 year-old and the 12-13 year-old, and athletes advance to the Hopes Championships from the Hopes Classic. The top 18 from each age group qualify to the Hopes Championships, assuming each athlete achieves a minimum qualifying score. The Hopes classification is just below the elite level, and the Hopes Championships, previously known as the U.S. Challenge, is the culmination of the Hopes athletes’ season.

The P&G Championships is the national championships for USA Gymnastics and determines the U.S. champions and the U.S. National Team. The 2017 P&G Championships are scheduled for Aug. 17-20 at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. For more information, go to pgchamps.com.
